USED VINYL AND THE RISK-TO-HAPPINESS RATIO

I wrote a thing for Rebel Noise about shopping for used records and the risk-to-happiness ratio involved. You can check it out here, if you're into that sort of thing. Meanwhile, my agent has started shopping my new novel around to editors, and I'm just sitting around in that half-lit twilight where I've just finished a big project and am not sure what to do next. After writing three books in four or five years, it's a pretty nice feeling. I'm sure I'll move on to the next thing here soon enough, but for now, I feel pretty good just listening to crappy punk records and drinking coffee.
