MOVEMENT.
Hey, everyone-
Well, packing is officially under way. Boxes are sealed and addressed and I’m sitting here in that weird halfway point between ready to go and not quite; the coffee grinder is packed but the coffee pot is not. You know, it’s not quite time to pack the toothpaste and all that. Still, things are moving forward. Portland looms.
Meanwhile, I’ve finished up logo/banner stuff for the new Rebel Noise website – samples of that will be posted soon. The search for an agent continues – still seems like a rough road to travel down, in spite of the fact that I’ve been gathering some pretty rad publication credits for the short story collection.
Meanwhile, here’s a few wonderful short story collections that I’ve come across in the past year or so. (I’ve hit a great streak recently, but these are a few that spring immediately to mind. Consider trying out a short story collection one of these days, yeah?)
After the Apocalypse by Maureen F. McHugh
Everything Ravaged, Everything Burned by Wells Tower
The Universe In Miniature In Miniature by Patrick Somerville
I’ll be leaving on Tuesday the 24th. Ideally, it’d be great to be all moved into a place by the first of the month, but between finding a place, installing reliable internet, and getting all of the merchandise listed on the site mailed to my new place, it could take a while. If you’re concerned about getting merch in a timely manner, please hold off on placing an order. Thanks.
I’ll keep you posted. Thanks much for checking this out, and as always, feel free to get in touch.
Keith
